Mario Fois Carta was born in Nuoro in 1971 where he lives and works. Since the end of the 80s begins operating around aerosol art and street’s culture. After several years of intense activity, without breaking away from the artistic spirit that has marked the first expression, Fois comes to traditional painting techniques on canvas, with particular attention to the use of colour of American abstract expressionism. In the mid-90s Fois is one of the founders of "Kentu Concas Kentu Berrittas" an artistic movement characterized by the maximum individual freedom and an intense exhibition activity. In recent years Fois has been protagonist of various solo, and proved to be able to compare effectively with different techniques’ and formats, moving from micro to macro without ever losing the meaning of painting as a gesture of liberation. He took part in many art collectives and solo exhibitions at “MAN Nuoro Museum”,and his works are in public and private collections of other countries like Mexico and China.
